Based on traditional West African folktales, this beautifully animated film follows the exciting adventures of Senegalese hero Kirikou as he his uses his intelligence and bravery to protect his fellow villagers from poverty, sickness and danger. Up against terrifying enemies such as a black hyena and an evil sorceress, the ever-resourceful Kirikou becomes a gardener, detective, merchant and even a doctor in order to save the day.
